I'm Mara Lindqvist. I live in a small apartment with a kitchen table that gets good light in the morning, and I write about the things I notice — which is to say, this blog has no particular topic, and that's on purpose.

There are no recipes here, no travel itineraries, no productivity systems. Just short pieces about walking the same route for a year, having fewer opinions, and the bookstore owner who remembers everyone. If a post is about anything, it's about paying attention.

I update the "Currently" card on the front page by hand, whenever what I'm reading or half-listening to actually changes. Nothing on this site is automated that could instead be noticed.
